Exterior MDFs are known to have good moisture resistance and are designed for exterior applications but can also be used indoors in places where there are high levels of humidity, such as bathrooms or laboratories.
What are Extira panels?
• A treated wood composite panel product for non-structural paint-grade applications

• Sanded two sides (S2S) for a smooth, unprimed surface; meets caliper requirements of
+/- 0.005."

I got these on a great sale, and was more than impressed with the quality of what I received. It is true the new white (which I also ordered) is a much nicer finish (a soft gloss) this white MDF is much better than I expected. Looking forward to working with the boards.
Just used it in my laser cutter clean and accurate cut. Will work great for my modeling projects

I use a 30 watt laser to cut the mdf for various crafts. I find the black tends to lift on the edges during cutting compared to the other true flat. I also find it is quite sooty compared to the others.

A great choice as a structural component in making leather cases and boxes. Perfect balance of thickness and weight. Usually all I can find are 1/8” thick (3mm) and way too dense to use so this is perfect.
The product lasers very nice. Flatness was pretty good. Cost is very reasonable.I ordered 48 sheets but shipping did better with 32. I would say because of the weight this package was a little rough. Previous order of 32 sheets was much better when it arived. That is beyond the shippers control though. I will order again when I need it. Shipping was fast to the US.
I ordered white mdf and 3mm baltic birch. While I do understand the plywood can warp, I was disappointed at the amount of warped pieces in my order. The MDF appears fine, although I haven't tried cutting it yet.

I picked up the black mdf to help me avoid painting backers for some of my projects. I have etched my signature into the back of it and it is very visible and the cutting was very smooth. I would buy it again.

Hard to find 1/4 MDF. i needed it for backer boards on my Incra iBox. Fit the bill perfectly.
