As expected

Being a beginner woodworker, it gave me a nice selection of species and sizes. Great way to start small and try new things without the extra cost.

For the most part l was very happy with the pieces l received there was how ever a lot of Maple in each box but as it turns out l will be able to use it all .l was however not very happy that I couldn’t get the western red cedar l wanted l didn’t think that was a seasonal wood so l guess l will have to wait for it maybe you can let me know when I can order some 1x5,6 ‘’ x 36 s4s would be great thanks for looking after me

Very nice pieces of wood, a few had cracks down the lenght, not much exotic wood but that changes on each order,overall this is a good purchase at the sale price

This was my second box and it's ok but not as good as my first one. There were two or three boards that were not s4s in that one side was still rough. I also wasn't as thrilled with the selection. There were two pieces of cedar ( I think) that while wide and colorful also had some large knots.
My preference would be for more domestic hardwood like maple, oak, cherry and walnut.

I was really interested in getting a box of random pieces of random species to just see what it will lead me to make.

I'm pretty certain there's a few pieces of Katalox in mine and I'm buzzing over it. Not very knowledgeable on foreign species, so it's been fun identifying and learning about them today

I will be ordering another before I've used this all up.

Fast shipping (ordered on a Thurs arrived first thing Monday AM), I had a wide range of some far out species, and I've ended up with too many ideas now.

My order was in my hands once I pressed Done.
Well not really, but I couldn’t believe how fast it was at my door step all 41lbs of it.

I thought the pieces would have been planed on both sides even if it made them 3/4 inch but still satisfied .

The box was jammed full with 32lbs of assorted wood. Just as advertised. Mine had maple, walnut, and cherry. Can’t wait til I use this up and can order another one! Sure is nice to purchase something and it shows up better than expected.

The hardwood cutoffs were of great quality and the box was absolutely stuffed full.

It should be noted that not everything in the box was technically hardwood (1x piece aromatic cedar, 2x pieces basswood) but I'm not bothered by that.

High value, and every piece is usable -- there weren't any "garbage" pieces, which can sometimes be a concern when buying offcut boxes.

Truly impressed with the quality and variety included in the box. There was even a large piece of wenge as well as walnut, maple, etc. Even better since it was on sale.

The shipment arrived on time and in perfect condition. The wood was of excellent quality.

I liked the selection, my wife immediately claimed the 12" x 12" by 4/4 piece of purple heartwood. I was completely satisfied.

Excellent mix of 4/4 hardwoods that I can mostly identify :) while all if the wood is clear, and fully dressed, I do wish it came with a species list to help identify the types of wood. Will definitely order again

I was very content with the first box. It had a variety of species and was exactly what I was expecting and more.

If you're like me and can only recognize Cedar and Walnut, this is the box for you. Not only did it have a ton of wood, this one had a great variety. It's my first box and I'm going to have fun learning what wood is what. Sure...it'd be easier to have them prelabeled...but half the fun of woodworking is the learning. I will order again...although probably not too soon since I got in a little bit of trouble with the boss for spending a bit more than I told her I wood (Like what I did there...yuk yuk)

A nice mix of hardwoods including a few exotics. Quite a bit of black walnut which we don’t get in B.C. Maple, ash, oak, some roasted, some figured. Will be great for my intarsia projects. Thanks, I’ll order again!
