African Mahogany wood is a stunning rich exotic wood!
Often call Khaya - the heartwood colour is quite variable and ranges from pale pink to a deep reddish brown. Its colour tends to darken with age and the quarter-sawn surfaces display a gorgeous ribbon-stipe figure.
This wood has a whole range of uses that include interior trim, furniture, boat building, turning, veneer, and plywood. African Mahogany can display some striking chatoyance that makes the wood surface look like it moves and dances.

This is my fourth or fifth order and its always been great. Exactly what i order and of quLity
Ive ordered a couple times from your site and I guess I will continue to do so I run a small business and all my furniture is made with your wood. I’m a bit disappointed on the quality it’s a bit of a hit and miss at times. Huge chunks missing from boards and such. Delivery was not the issue but there are are some gauges from the delivery service which is obviously not your fault. What I’m saying is consistency would be appreciated.
Straight, wide and stunning pieces. Thank you very much
the wood was excellent and the service exceptional. I had a delivery problem and it was solved 10 minutes after sending an e-mail
Beautiful wood without a doubt but I wasn't prepared for how splintery it would be. Had to do more sanding on the pieces I made with it than I wanted. Still ended up nice.
I ordered 2 20 bf packs of butternut and mahogany. The order arrived in two business days. The wood selected on my behalf was excellent.
very nice mahogany matched selection all perfect condition. I am very pleased with this purchase and the shipping was very quick too.
Nice product. Could have been a little closer to the advertised dimensions but satisfied with purchase.

Haven’t received it yet
I didn't have a ny work to do to start my project. I have the tools to finish the wood myself, just lazy i suspect. Good product and fast to ship
All 5 species of wood were in excellent condition; straight and high quality! My second order and not my last.
Nice piece of wood but had to fill an hairline crack with thin crazy glue
You got a costumer that’s really happy
Great product, outstanding customer service.
I was looking for some mahogany wood for my upcoming boat building project and KJP had exactly what I needed and I was so impressed when I received my order. Excellent quality well selected planks, exactly what I needed and a hassle free online experience shopping at KJP 👌
I"ve bought 9 differant types of KJP 8/4" ...
Each piece is better than the next. To be totally honest , I've got them set up in my shop as if they're on display. They're so beautiful that I want to buy more species of 8/4 " & sit on them for as long as possible without cutting into any of them. I've searched many different places for exotic woods.
But now have found that KJP is the only place that I will buy from. Thank each & everyone of you at KJP that handled my purchase of your lumber and your quick & professional services.
You're #1 ... ! ...
My on line order was prepared quickly and readily available when I showed up for pick up
Très bon service. La livraison est rapide et le matériau commandé est de grande qualité.

S4S Mahogany Lumber
I ordered 20 bf of mahogany from KJP. It was my first time ordering from them. I am a luthier and woodworker and have been ordering mahogany from a US supplier for many years. I must say that I am exceptionally pleased with my experience with KJP. The price was excellent, and the quality of the lumber was magnificent. Though it is advertised as "rough cut," the boards were planed on the 2 primary faces. Shipping cost was reasonable, and the lumber arrived in a matter of days. Based on this first experience, I will definitely be a repeat customer.
It was straight, well cut and free of defects and knots.
Arrived on time and hassle free
Couldn't ask for much more
8/4 Rough Cut Mahogany Lumber
Excellent wood, two faces are more finished than implied by kjp description. Only two sides rough.
It is great to have a local source for hardwood supply even though KJP is 70 miles away, I wish they were next door! Have bought via on line delivery, but did travel to their store and they are well stocked. Most of my purchases have been project lumber both thick and thins purchased as S4S. Have had very good selections picked and sent to this point.
