A how to info would help if a person is not familiar with glue ups and prep of different oily woods

Why pick GLS canada shipping? It has the worst reviews of any shipper out there. Terrible tracking, super slow shipments.

I ordered a 12x24 cutting board kit. The photo looks like all pieces are identical in size however they are various thicknesses. Fortunately I have a good cabinet saw and thickness planer so I can adjust thicknesses but I’ll have to clarify if I were to order again,

I bought 4 cutting board kits. two 24" and two 12". One domestic and one exotic of each. Both of the exotic packs have unusable blanks in them. Either from being too twisted and crowned, to having rot and cracks. My overall experience with KJP has been ok. Other than this and them sending me the wrong wood on my last order.

All of the wood was gorgeous. Purple Heart, maple, walnut, partial of it was in great shape. The only problem was the one box with all the 4’x6” boards. Both ends had come open. Don’t know if it was rough handling g by shipper or someone wanted to see what was so dammed heavy. No damege to wood, only the box.
I will refer and reorder when the time comes for more timber

Always good products and never had any issues unfortunately my last purchase of walnut lave edges one of them was bad quality and split on me right through the middle rendering it useless and after close inspection I was able to see the fractures.

These hardwoods are beautiful. Very uniform and nice grains. I was able to glue and sand to a very smooth & level finish, no planer required. Wonderful result

This wood is so beautiful, I almost don't want to use it

The wood I received was good quality, but not perfect. My purpleheart had a noticeable split on two of the pieces. I still really enjoyed the lumber and would purchase from KJP again.

Very happy about the overall quality of the wood.
Not giving 5 star as 1 of the pieces was sliced in its length making over a third of the piece of wood un usable for me.
But overall satisfied

I did not receive the exotic cutting board package. I did receive my other ordered wood and very happy with those.

The wood is different heights . So if you’re buying this to make a 3D cutting board where you need to start with all square pieces , don’t get this. I don’t have a planer/jointer so I thought this would be the solution. It’s not.
