La colle pour mélamine Titebond est conçue pour coller le bois, les panneaux de particules, le MDF et d'autres substrats poreux à des matériaux synthétiques tels que la mélamine, le vinyle et le HPL, ainsi qu'aux métaux.
Elle offre une prise initiale rapide, mais dispose d'un temps ouvert plus long qui permet un alignement précis des matériaux de travail. La colle pour mélamine Titebond est un adhésif à base d'eau, ininflammable, peu odorant, qui sèche transparent et se nettoie à l'eau. Sa formulation plus épaisse offre moins de coulures et de gouttes, ce qui la rend plus facile à utiliser et plus efficace pour les assemblages précis.

Conseils d'application
- Température d'application : supérieure à 4 °C (40 °F)
- Temps d'assemblage ouvert : 5 minutes (21 °C/50 % HR)
- Temps d'assemblage total : 10-15 minutes (21 °C/50 % HR)
- Étalement minimum requis : environ 6 mils ou 250 pieds carrés par gallon
- Pression de serrage requise : suffisante pour joindre hermétiquement les pièces (généralement, 30-80 psi pour le HPL, 100-150 psi pour les bois tendres, 125-175 psi pour les bois moyens et 175-250 psi pour les bois durs)
- Méthode d'application : S'étale facilement avec un applicateur à rouleau ou un pinceau, ou peut être transférée dans des bouteilles en plastique pour des applications de collage plus fines.
- Nettoyage : Chiffon humide tant que la colle est humide. Gratter et poncer l'excès séché.
Limitations
La colle pour mélamine Titebond n'est pas destinée à un usage extérieur ou là où l'humidité est susceptible d'être présente. Ne convient pas aux applications structurelles ou porteuses. Le pressage sous vide ne doit être utilisé que pour les placages d'une épaisseur maximale de 1/16 de pouce. Ne pas utiliser lorsque la température, la colle ou les matériaux sont inférieurs à 4 °C (40 °F).

Small enough to keep the glue under control and it does cleanup dried glue easily.
Great job spreading the glue, and very easy to clean. However, the black silicone brushead fell off the yellow plastic stick and now it's useless.

The brush, and this will sound weird actually gives you a lovely even glue spread so when you put your pieces together you get a controlled squeeze out... so net result is you use less glue
Cleaning the brush head is quite therapeutic as well
I got this glue for rebuilding a railing for a porch. It dries fast but not too fast, and it does its job. Love it when things work as they should.
This is a great glue for when you don't want glue lines! Especially in craft work where you are gluing 2 items together one on top of the other and you don't want glue to show.

Works amazing and sets up fast, requires about 20-30 mins clamp time I’ve tried to break the bond with a hammer after making a mistake it was extremely difficult.

Titebond Translucent Wood Glue
This glue is excellent for light duty tasks where you don't want to make a mess. I can't say if the glue is anywhere near as strong as Titebonds other products but "Quick and Thick" is great for gluing uneven materials with gaps. I used Titebond "Quick and Thick" and a pin nailer to make a set of geometric wall art pieces.

Something of a traditionalist, I have used Titebond for years and have never had a problem with the product. Working time is good, making glue ups a breeze.
I glue up a lot of cutting boards. This is my go to- the only one I use.
