Ébauche à tourner en érable ambrosia
Nous vous fournirons une ébauche de bol de haute qualité en érable ambrosia dans les dimensions de votre choix. Cette ébauche a déjà été séchée au four et est prête à être « transformée » en votre prochain grand projet !
Nous pouvons parfois fournir une ébauche plus grande que nos tailles standard. Veuillez nous envoyer un e-mail pour connaître la disponibilité et obtenir un devis.
Les dimensions peuvent varier de +/- 1/4" car nous préférons souvent raboter légèrement les ébauches à tourner pour révéler le grain et la couleur. Certaines ébauches peuvent également avoir des faces et des extrémités cirées.
Couleur et usinabilité
Qu'est-ce que le bois d'érable ambrosia ? Eh bien, ce n'est pas vraiment une essence, mais plutôt deux choses qui arrivent au bois lorsqu'il a été infesté par le coléoptère ambrosia ! Le plus évident sont les minuscules trous laissés par le coléoptère qui le traverse, mais il laisse également des stries intéressantes causées par un champignon qu'il transporte sur ses pattes. Il va sans dire que tout notre bois est séché au four et que ces visiteurs ne sont plus un problème !
Il peut y avoir une variance d'un lot à l'autre en ce qui concerne la quantité de stries que nous obtenons - mais nous faisons de notre mieux pour vous envoyer les planches qui ont le plus de caractère. En ce qui concerne les petits trous, ils devront être remplis et c'est une excellente occasion d'essayer notre P-Tec Wood Filler.
Finition recommandée
Nous vous recommandons d'utiliser la crème naturelle pour bois Honey Bee's pour une finition durable et sans danger pour les aliments. overall i was please with the order, delivery time, quality of product etc...
i was very disappointed in what was supposed to be mahogany that I received. this was not at all what I wanted. I received what is often referred to as lauan or philippine mahogany. this product shouldn't be sold as mahogany.

However, we apologize for any disappointment with the type of wood you received. We try to be very clear in the item description that this is African Mahogany (Khaya), the most commonly traded Mahogany on the market these days. It is not Lauan - that is a totally different species.

This is excellent quality lumber, you would never think it was rough because it as good as most s4s. Great quality and beautiful wood! I will definitely be buying more from KJP!!

Don't count on receiving this product like the picture on the website. Mine had very little figuring in it. I regret even ordering it. Other product I ordered I was pleased with. I will probably not buy wood on line again. Too expensive to return if I'm not pleased.

i received this material with some ribbon stripped sapele and purpleheart i ordered it has great figure although the piece i received with my order 12 days ago was almost un useable it took a lot of work to use the piece more quality control is needed thank good i was able to put the damaged side face down in my table top
