Ce bois dur nord-américain fonctionne bien avec les outils manuels et électriques. Très abordable et facile à trouver, c'est une essence de bois populaire utilisée pour presque toutes les applications d'ébénisterie intérieure. Si vous souhaitez cintrer à la vapeur, vous pouvez vous attendre à de bons résultats avec le chêne rouge. Il se colle également bien et prend bien la finition, bien qu'un bouche-pores puisse être souhaité pour remplir le grain grossier.

Rough Cut Red Oak Lumber Pack

Very pleased with my order of red oak. I even received two beautifully figured pieces of curly oak which was a very nice surprise. Now I just have to find a different project for those two pieces.

This was my first order with KJP. I ordered red oak 1/4 inch thins, lumber and plywood for a current home project. My second order from KJP and I couldn’t be happier with the quality. Arrived quickly and very good quality lumber. As far as ‘rough cut’, it required very little work to dress.
Also bought the domestic cutting board blanks as well. They were also in great shape. There was a small check in one piece of cherry but it was nothing a little glue didn’t fix.
